    Feed and snacks

GroomUs only sells grain-free dog food and we do not compromise on the quality of the dog food we sell.

Our dog food contains only the highest quality ingredients and ensures essential nutrition in a minimally processed form that gives your dog everything it needs

Regardless of whether you are looking for dry food, wet food or treats for your dog, you can be sure of the quality, as there is only food and snacks that we give to our own dogs.

    Why grain free

In short, your dog is a descendant of the wolf and was created to be a carnivore. It gets most of its nutrition from meat and the rest from vegetables and fruit.

Grain is the most common cause of allergies in dogs, and can contribute to skin and coat problems or digestive problems. Grain also has a lower nutritional value than meat.

Many dogs have difficulty digesting grains. It converts grains into carbohydrates, which can cause fluctuations in its blood sugar levels.

Age and size of the dog

Throughout life, the dog needs a balanced amount of protein, fat and carbohydrates, adapted to their energy needs and stage of development.

It is important that the feed is suitable for the dog's age and size.

Puppies need more energy during their growing years and need a different composition of food than an adult dog.

As an adult, the dog needs a dog food adapted to its size and activity level. If your dog is very active, you should choose our active food.

The senior dog needs a balanced amount of protein, fat and carbohydrates, adapted to their energy needs and age stage. Older dogs are often less active and need a low-calorie diet to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle.

    Feed change

When you choose to change dog food, you should start by introducing the new food gradually. A rule of thumb is to mix ½ amount of the new with ½ of the old dog food for 3 to 4 days. This ensures that the dog's digestive system gets used to the new feed and you avoid your dog getting diarrhoea.

    Feeding instructions

As a starting point, you must follow the instructions on the packaging that your dog food comes in, observe the dog's weight, coat and well-being and regulate the amount of food if the dog gains or loses weight.

GroomUs has a large selection of snacks and treats.
The selection covers everything from tasty treats to natural chew bones and teeth-cleaning snacks that help your dog with oral hygiene.
